What Are Peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the building blocks of proteins. Unlike synthetic drugs, they work by signaling your body's own systems: stimulating hormone release, modulating metabolism, or targeting specific receptors. They don't replace your hormones. They instruct your body to do more of what it already does.
For someone who's already athletic with metabolic issues (insulin resistance), peptides offer targeted metabolic signaling without the blunt-force approach of exogenous hormones. Done right, they work with your physiology — not against it.
This guide is for educational purposes. Peptides are sold as research chemicals. Use involves legal and health considerations you must evaluate for yourself. Bloodwork before starting is strongly recommended.
